Hope everyone is doing well. This post is the result from the conversation with the mom about youth migration to foreign countries. Recent reports shows the increase in the emigration of people especially youth from India to other countries. The reasons for the emigration are different from person to person and we are unable to track down all the reasons. But, we can learn the broader view based on the area/society the people are living.
As we all know, India is a country with large youth population and almost everyone aspires to be an Ambani. Everything is fine for the youth until they complete graduation, especially speaking of southern parts of India, the youth here mostly undergoes software education. The problem arises after their completion of graduation, With large youth population there exists a un/healthy competition between the student and their families.
let me tell you a story: In a city there lived a boy named harish. harish always bags first from his school and he gains lot of encouragement from his teachers. So he joined in the prestigious college from his city. After completion of graduation he got a job in a software company with a minimum salary. But, all those praises he heard from his childhood are unseen and the judging nature of people effected him psychologically. so he runs off to the another country where no one judges his credibility and everyone in his home country praises him.
IIT-Hyderabad student commits suicide; third incident in a year.(2019): In his suicide note he mentioned this: “There is a critic within me questioning my every move to the extent that I feel I shouldn’t exist. Yes, I shouldn’t exist because I am a self-obsessed guy. I was brought up that way, being compared with my peers all the time,”
Don’t know whether to consider this emigration is credible because of two reasons:
1. It is good for the youth to escape from the psychological conflict and live happily some where in the world.
2. The talent of our youth is to serve other nations?
The parents thought of dependence on their children at their old age, and the false pride that existed in the society making them to push their children according to the societal flow but not on the interests of the children.
This is one of the reason for the less creativity in India. And the more jobs domain has less graduates and less jobs domain has more graduates.
